History

Impact Technologies was founded in 1998 in Syracuse, NY by Raymond M. Davis, President and CEO, with a core business strategy of technology development. In the last several years, our management team has been examining market trends related to the next emerging technology field- renewable and clean energy production. In 2008, Impact Technologies partnered with a local company, Grassman Performance Energy, LLC who had developed a unique vertical wind turbine design. We hired on the president and founder, Derek Grassman, to spearhead our Product Design Department. With the technology foundation provided by Grassman Performance Energy and the go-to market strength of Impact Technologies, a new business platform was launched in the emerging vertical wind market.

Today Impact is preparing to commercialize our powAIR Sail, working with several local organizations, including the Clean Tech Center in Syracuse, NY. Our goal is to continue to introduce technical innovations that will have a sustaining impact on the green energy industry.
